4b. Audio delay
In case the sound comes from an external sound system (not the TV speakers), like an HTS:
• Switch the audio delays settings in the TV to “On”. Press the “Home”/“Settings” button and select:
[Setup] > [TV settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced settings] > [Audio Out delay] > [on]
Or
[All settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced] > [Digital/Audio Out delay] > [On]
• Change the audio delays settings in the TV. Press the “Home”/“Settings” button and select:
[Setup] > [TV settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced] > [Audio Out offset] and select a value.
Or
[All settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced] > [Digital/Audio Out offset] and select a value.
5b. Turn off Game/PC mode
By turning Game/PC mode “OFF”, the TV takes a few milliseconds less time to process the video for image improvements, such as Natural Motion.
• Press the “Home”/“Settings” button on the remote control of the TV and select:
[Setup] > [TV settings] > [Image] > [Game or computer] > [Off]
Or
[All settings] > [Picture] > [Advanced] > [(Game or) computer] > [Off]
6b. Different audio format
Change the audio format to ‘Stereo’ in the TV.
• Press the “Home”/“Settings” button on the remote control of the TV and select:
[Setup] > [TV settings] > [Audio] > [Advanced] > [Audio Out Format] > [Stereo]
Or
[All settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced] > [Digital/Audio Out format] > [Stereo]
Note:
If using a sound system
In case the sound comes from an external sound system, like a Home Theatre:
• Change the sync (or delay) options in the sound system. Note that in some sound systems a negative value needs to be entered.
• When manually setting the sync, turn off any automatic sync or audio delay options, if applicable. Otherwise this might cause synchronisation issues again.
If using a set-top box
When viewing content from a set top box:
• Check the settings on your set-top box to adjust the synchronization. Please contact the provider or check the manual of the set-top box.
