My Sonicare toothbrush is not turning on

If you find that your toothbrush is not turning on, the troubleshooting tips below may help you find a solution.

If none of these tips help, there may be a technical issue with your toothbrush that you cannot solve yourself. We recommend that you request a repair for your toothbrush. Depending on your location, you can arrange an online repair, visit one of our authorised service centres or contact us.
 

The most common solution: Clean the power button.

Toothpaste residue can build up around the power button. The residue is causing it to get stuck and not turn on. We recommend cleaning the power button and the surrounding area with a damp cloth.

The second solution: Try a different power source.

It may sound obvious, but a faulty power source is usually the reason why a toothbrush will not turn on. Try using a different plug socket to charge your toothbrush.

The last possible solution: Fully charge the toothbrush battery.

Your toothbrush may not turn on if the battery is empty. We recommend charging it for at least 24 hours. To avoid this from happening again, you can always leave your toothbrush on the charger.

If you have not used your toothbrush for a month or more, your battery may have run out. Place the handle on the charger. The battery is charging, but it might take a few minutes for the battery indicator to light up. We recommend that you charge your toothbrush for at least 24 hours.
