PerfectCare irons use 10% less energy than a conventional steam generator.
The Smart Control processor regulates the PerfectCare temperature variation, keeping it at a constant. At our Optimal TEMP the steam generator producers steam, without any leakage or any risk to clothes. The iron can be left in a static position for a maximum of 5 minutes, on your garments, with no risk of burning your garments.
Philips has improved the gliding surface, ensuring the performance of the iron. The coating on the soleplate is ceramic-based, providing excellent gliding and durability. This facilitates easy cleaning of the soleplate and smooth gliding on all types of fabrics. The steam and heat presses the garment and removes the creases. The new SteamGlide coating now enables better gliding especially at our optimal low temperature.

For all Philips Steam irons and generators, we recommend normal tap water to fill the water tank. You can now easily extended the life span of the steam geenrator thanks to the easy De-Calc, which offers hassle free calcium and lime deposit removal; less than one minute to effectively rinse the boiler (with no shaking, and no need to take the appliance to the sink)
You can refill the water tank at anytime, the system is also very quick to heat up, less than 2 minutes.
