No sound is coming from my Philips Avent Video Baby Monitor parent unit

To make sure you are dealing with only a simple sound issue, let’s quickly check that the baby unit and parent unit are working fine. Please make sure:

• The parent unit is powered on and displaying live video.
• The baby unit is powered on.
• The baby unit and parent unit are connected.

If the sound from the parent unit is too quiet or not present, try the solutions below.

• Sound is not detected. When sound is detected, the sound level lights on the parent unit will light up. Make sure sound is being detected by making a noise near the baby unit and checking if the sound level lights react.
• Parent unit volume is too low. The parent unit might be muted or set to a lower volume than you expected. To unmute and increase volume, press the top part of the control button
• Sound sensitivity is too low. The lower the detection sensitivity is set, the fewer sounds will come from the parent unit. In the menu, increase the sound sensitivity.
