My Philips Avent Video Baby Monitor screen is black, but I can still hear audio

If you can hear audio but the parent unit screen is black, the display may simply be turned off.

Check the display status light:

Solid white: The display has been turned off while audio monitoring continues. Briefly press the on/off button to turn the display back on.
Solid green: Battery saver mode is active. In battery saver mode, the display stays off and wakes after sound is detected.
