The Philips Avent Video Baby Monitor parent unit battery is draining quickly
If the parent unit battery is draining faster than expected, check the following settings.
Keeping the display on uses more battery.
Turn off the display: Briefly press the on/off button to turn off the screen while audio monitoring continues. Briefly press it again to turn the display back on.
Use battery saver mode: Battery saver keeps the display off and turns it on when sound is detected, helping the parent unit operate longer on a full charge.
Higher screen brightness uses more power. Try reducing the display brightness on the parent unit.
If sounds such as a fan or air conditioner are being detected unintentionally, try lowering the sound sensitivity. To learn how to do this, see “How do I adjust sound sensitivity?”
