How do I use my Sonicare toothbrush?

Using an electric toothbrush is easy. Here are some simple steps to get you started.

Push the brush head firmly onto the handle. A small gap between the brush head and toothbrush handle is normal and necessary.

Wet the brush head.

Apply a bit of toothpaste.

Place the bristles against your teeth at a 45° angle.

Turn on the toothbrush to start brushing. We recommend that you brush your teeth for two minutes, twice a day.

Move the toothbrush slowly across the teeth. Only apply light pressure and let the toothbrush do the brushing for you.

Some Sonicare toothbrushes have a Quadpacer or BrushPacer feature. If your toothbrush has the Quadpacer feature, you can divide your teeth into four sections. The BrushPacer feature divides your teeth into six sections. Your toothbrush will vibrate intermittently to tell you to move on to the next section. It will automatically stop at the end of the brushing session.

Clean your toothbrush after use by rinsing your brush head and bristles. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth.
