Why does the 3D functionality not work with the PS3 (for outputs of 720p, this TV cannot downscale)?

The software in the PS3 needs to be updated for 3D functionality.

Once this has been done you will need to manually select the 3D mode from within the TV menu.

Please note that 3D is only possible via HDMI, so you must be using the HDMI output for this to work.

The type of HDMI cable and HDMI splitter can contribute to this issue, be sure to use a 3D ready cable .
