- You have pressed the power-on button (unintentionally) before you plugged in the appliance
- When you press the power-on button before you put the plug in the wall socket, the steriliser starts operating immediately when you plug it in
Warning: The appliance becomes extremely hot during sterilisation and may cause burns if it is touched.
- Therefore always check if the sterilising light lights up. This is an indication that the appliance is already operating.
