Yes. It has been tested according to all safety standards set for toys for (newborn) babies. All materials are non-toxic and can withstand biting, nibbling and sucking. The thermometer is also shockproof and can withstand a 1 metre (3 ft.) drop. Measurements are ±1°C accurate between 0 and 50°C.
