When you unpack the sterilizer, you may notice a strange smell. This smell is not harmful. Due to the newness of the materials the appliance will produce a slight smell when you take it out of the box.
This smell will soon disappear after you have unpacked your sterilizer. We also recommend that you complete one sterilizing process with empty baskets to remove any remaining dirt and smell.
