How does inductive charging work?

Published on 2017-08-24

Inductive charging uses electromagnetic fields to transfer energy from an inductive charging pad to a compatible receiver. For example, energy is transferred from Qi wireless charging pad to a Qi-enabled device. The energy transfer starts when the charging pad is connected to a power supply; and the compatible receiver is placed on the pad.
