Why is there an air bubble on the glass of my Philips Lumea?

Your Lumea is not defective. Although it looks like an air bubble, it is a piece of the lamp. It is a result of the manufacturing process and every Lumea has it. See the picture below of where you can see the bubble on a brand new Lumea device.
