How much water should I add to an Avent bottle warmer?
Filling your Philips Avent bottle warmer to the correct level ensures that your milk or formula reaches the proper temperature efficiently.
Please refer to the guidelines below to learn more about using your bottle warmer.
Tip: for all Philips Avent bottle warmer models, use fresh, room-temperature water to fill the warmer.
For 125 ml/4 oz bottles, fill the warmer with water to just above the level of the milk in the bottle. For a 26 ml/9 oz bottle, fill the warmer to 15 mm (0.5in) below the rim of the warmer. Never allow the water level to rise above the neck of the bottle or spill over the edge of the warmer.
For most bottle sizes, fill your fast bottle warmer with water to the level of the milk in the bottle. When heating 210ml/ 7oz or more of milk or formula, fill the warmer to 1 cm/0.4 in below the rim of the warmer. For most bottle sizes with smaller amounts of milk, fill the base with water up to the level of the milk in the bottle (image 2).
You can use the window on the front of the appliance to check the water level (image 1).
When heating larger amounts of milk or formula of 210 ml/7 oz or higher, where the milk level in the bottle is above the top of the rim of the base (image 3), fill the warmer to 1 cm/0.4 in below the rim.
