My Philips 3-in-1 Air Purifier displays Code E6 and stops working

Published on 25 October 2022
If your Philips 3-in-1 Air Purifier stops working after displaying Code E6, please find possible causes and solutions below.
Philips 3-in-1 Air Purifier is equipped with overheat protection feature. When the temperature of the appliance gets too high, it will trigger the overheat protection (Code E6 is displayed) and the appliance will stop working. Inappropriate usage could trigger the overheat protection. When this happens, please follow the steps below to check and fix it:
  1. Unplug your Philips 3-in-1 Air Purifier from the socket.
  2. Open the back cover and check whether the filter package has been removed. If not, please fully remove the filter package, then put the filter back and re-attach the back cover (see image below).
  3. Check whether the air inlet or air outlet is blocked. If so, please remove any obstacle.
  4. Wait for 1 minute, then plug the device back in and power it on.

If the above steps did not help solve the issue, please contact us for further assistance.
