No or poor sound from my Philips portable radio

  • Check that the sound volume is adjusted to an audible level by turning the VOLUME/POWER OFF knob on the device * Headphones are connected to the device. Remove them and adjust the sound volume. * The FM aerial is not fully extended. Fully extend it to get the best reception. * The headphones are not fully inserted and are causing humming or sound distortion. Check that the headphones are fully inserted into the headphone jack on the device.
