How to connect the speakers of my Philips HiFi system?
In order to connect the speakers of your Philips FWD/FWM/MCD or MCM Hi-Fi system, please follow the steps described below:
Decide which speaker is right, and the other will be left, according to your home environment 2. There are 2 wires from each speaker. At the back of the main unit, there are 4 speaker terminals. The terminals are grouped into L and R. * The wires from the left speaker should go to the two speaker terminals labelled as L. Connect the black (unmarked) wire to “-” terminal and the coloured (marked) wire to “+“. * The wires from the right speaker should go to the two speaker terminals labelled as R. Connect the black (unmarked) wire to “-” terminal and the coloured (marked) wire to “+“.
Fully insert the stripped portion of the speaker wire into the terminal as shown.
