How do I reformat my Philips GoGear?

IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT reformat your GoGear with Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer - only use the GoGear Device Manager. 1. Connect the GoGear to the power supply with the AC/DC adapter. 2. Launch the Device Manager by right clicking the Device Manager icon on the task bar of your PC. IMPORTANT: All music & content of your GoGear will be erased once the factory setting is restored. 3. Select the REPAIR tab in the Philips device manager dialogue box; click Repair and Yes to confirm and start the repairing of the unit. 4. At the end of the repair process, a dialogue box will pop up saying that your device has been successfully repaired. Click OK to complete the repair.
