Why my Philips UHF panel antenna can be rotated?

Normally the UHF antenna should be horizontal for best reception However in some countries in areas that are hard to reach - broadcasters have set up small low powered transmitters to fill in reception areas. This may happen for example in valleys. These secondary transmitters send the signal in a way that is may be received better if the antenna mounted horizontally. To adjust, tilt the UHF panel back slightly and rotate the panel CLOCKWISE Until it is vertical. See also the user manual for further explanation.
