Dock and charge your iPod and enjoy music in quality sound
The iPod docking cradle lets you connect your iPod directly to the Streamium Wireless music centre to enjoy superb sound. Simply switch the Streamium to 'Portable' mode, and then dock your iPod. Use the Streamium remote control to navigate, select and play back the music stored on your iPod. The Streamium automatically charges your iPod while it is docked.
Plug and play directly from your USB flash memory device
When you select the USB Direct mode on the Streamium, you can instantly access the music on your USB portable music player and play it back through the Streamium centre or station. USB Direct lets you play back MP3, AAC and WMA music files from a USB device, allowing you to enjoy your portable music at home with great sound quality.
Class 'D' digital amplifier for quality sound performance
The Class 'D' Digital Amplifier takes an analogue signal, converts it into a digital signal and then amplifies the signal digitally. The signal then enters a demodulation filter to give the final output. The amplified digital output delivers all the advantages of digital audio, including improved sound quality. In addition, the Class 'D' Digital Amplifier has over 90% efficiency compared to traditional AB amplifiers. This high efficiency translates into a powerful amplifier with a small footprint.
