Power adapter heats up, the LED blinks and notebook does not charge

Published on 2017-08-24

This happens if you connect the power adapter to a notebook with a higher input power requirement (>65 W). The power adapter gets hot. If the power adapter gets very hot, the overheat protection is activated and the LED indicator blinks. When the power adapter cools down, it works normally again. We do not advise you connect the power adapter to a notebook with a higher input power requirement (> 65 W).
