Water comes out of my Philips steam iron's soleplate
If water is released from your Philips steam generator's soleplate, please read along for possible causes and solutions.
This problem may be due to the 3 scenarios below:
After the Calc-Clean process, any remaining water may drip out of the soleplate.
Solution: Wipe the soleplate dry with a piece of cloth. If the Calc-Clean light still flashes and the steam generator still beeps, perform the Calc-Clean process.
The Calc-Clean process has not been completed.
Solution: You have to perform the Calc-Clean process again.
Steam condenses into water in the hose when you use steam for the first time or have not used it for a long time.
Solution: This is normal. Hold the iron away from the garment and press the steam trigger. Wait until steam instead of water comes out of the soleplate.
