My Philips nose trimmer does not work

If your Philips Nose Trimmer does not turn on or perform well try our troubleshooting advice to solve this issue yourself.

The cutting unit is blocked

It could be that the cutting unit of your nose hair trimmer is blocked by dirt or debris. This can prevent the trimmer from switching on or running properly. Clean your device by following the instructions below.

  1. Switch your nose hair trimmer off.

  2. Rinse the trimming head of the nose hair trimmer with hot water.

  3. Switch on the trimmer and rinse the trimming head once more to remove any remaining hair. Then switch the appliance off again.

  4. If rinsing the trimming head under the tap is not sufficient, immerse the trimming head in a glass with warm water for a few minutes. Do not put the handle of the trimmer in the water, as this can damage its internal machinery.

  5. Carefully shake off excess water and let the trimmer air dry.

For best results, clean your Philips Nose Trimmer after each use and lubricate the trimming head with a drop of sewing machine oil every six months.

Battery has ran out

It could be that the battery of your nose hair trimmer has drained. To solve this issue simply replace the battery with a new one. When replacing the battery, make sure that the + and - poles of the battery point in the right direction.
