The New Philips Haircare Range Helps You To Achieve Beautiful Hair, Styled With Care

August 19,2010

London, UK; Philips is pleased to announce the launch of its new Haircare range, designed to create beautiful styles with greater care, every day. Building on its heritage in innovation, Philips offers a new premium range of sophisticated styling products that are simple to use. The range, which includes straighteners, hairdryers and a multistyler has been developed in conjunction with award winning hair stylist Andy Uffels and has products to suit all budgets.

Damage Limitation
Maintaining a style from morning until night can be a real challenge and women with busy schedules need easy products for re-styling throughout the day. Knowing that damage is a key concern to women who style their hair daily, Philips has created a new range of products for Autumn Winter 2010 that will help busy women quickly and simply style their hair whilst ensuring it always looks and feels healthy. The new Philips range enables daily styling, straightening and retouching whilst caring for the hair at every step.

TriCare Technology
Philips has developed a three pronged approach to styling with care:

  • Ionic Technology benefits the hair by facilitating absorption of the natural moisture into the hair. It also increases shine and reduces frizz by neutralising positively charged hair through the emission of negative ions, which can attract dirty dust particles and lead to dull, flyaway hair.

  • Keratin Infused Plates deliver smoothness, shine and instant manageability. Keratin conditioners infused in the ceramic plates, stimulate keratin naturally present in the hair, helping to seal hair cuticles and add moisture and shine.

  • SonicPulseTM technology ensures that the greatest number of hairs receive treatment from the keratin infused plates on each stroke. The gentle vibrations spread the hair evenly between the plates, improving glide and minimising heat damage caused by repeat strokes and hot spots.

Jennie Flatt, Customer Marketing Manager Female Beauty at Philips says, “Caring for hair and styling with heat are not two concepts that naturally go hand-in-hand. Philips has developed a range for women who want to create glamorous styles every day whilst  feeling that they are doing something to protect against the daily strain that styling with heat can put on the hair.
